YUWA , NGO

Through football, Yuwa provides a platform for young women to make a change in their world. Football serves as a powerful platform to promote health, education and improved livelihoods among the most important agents for change: young women..

We operate in Jharkhand, India's top source state for human trafficking, with the highest prevalence of child marriages in India. Here, teamwork is a powerful force to combat the primary causes of a young woman's vulnerability.

Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools is helping take Yuwa to the next level, creating and training a cadre of new female coaches. Yuwa selected a first batch of seven young women age 14-17 to attend a special coaching camp organized by BBFS. After eight days in Delhi with the experienced Portuguese coaches of BBFS, Jose and Guilherme, there was an enormous change in their confidence, in themselves and their capacity to teach others. They returned to their villages and are now coaching about 100 girls daily.

Thanks to Anurag, Kishore and everyone at BBFS for bringing some of the best coaching in the world to some of the most deserving players in the world!

We highly recommend Bhaichung Bhutia Football Academy. We are definitely one of the most satisfied parents. Our boys simply love it and look forward every single time to their football classes. The trainers are from Portugal and very professional. It's a professional club and we feel our boys are learning some decent stuff. They know how to handle kids and make them work.

I wish to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for giving my son Karan the chance to train with your school albeit only for a month as we reside in Hong Kong..

Needless to say - Karan and I have been very impressed with the IIT venue, the quality and commitment of your coaches and the methodology / exercises deployed during the training sessions. Karan was extremely honored to have participated in your inaugural inter academy tournament on July 3rd, Sunday at IIT.

Because of BBFS, Karan will now be even more motivated to return to India during the summer vacation. Wish you all the very best and success in the coming future.
